CapitalCare staff work together as a team by sharing information and ideas to provide a high standard of care and to assist residents in living as independently as possible. Services
Pharmacy - All of your medications are ordered by your doctor and provided by our Pharmacy Department. Centre pharmacists keep an ongoing, up-to-date record of your medications, medical condition and allergies to monitor your health and safety. Nursing - Nursing staff will encourage and support you to manage your care as independently as possible. Each unit has a Care Manager who will be pleased to talk to you about any concerns you may have. Physical Therapy - The physical therapist assists with development of strength, balance, coordination and mobility. Occupational Therapy - The occupational therapist assists and teaches clients to do as much for themselves as possible. This may include bathing, dressing, eating or communicating. Recreation Therapy - The recreation therapist helps residents maintain their hobbies while encouraging new leisure activities. Social Work - The social worker is available to provide residents, family members, guardians and substitute decision makers with counseling, resource information, referral and advocacy on personal matters.
