Building the future together, there are many ways to give. Through
the generous donations of the many friends of the CapitalCare
Foundation, special programs, projects and services enhance the
quality of life, dignity and independence of residents and clients.

Donations may be designated to any of CapitalCare’s facilities,
projects, programs, or to the area of greatest need.

You can contribute in many ways:
Annual Gifts
Annual gifts to the CapitalCare Foundation will help to support
the many ongoing needs, special programs and projects at all of our
centres. This includes pastoral care, education, upgrading
equipment, bursaries for staff, facility renovations and research.
Planned Giving
Planned giving allows you to commit now and gift later. This
way you can give special support to an existing or new program, or
finance a project. Your planned gift contribution may be a one time
donation or a pledge. You may wish to make a gift of personal
property, trust funds, annuities, life insurance policies, or name
the CapitalCare Foundation in your estate. Whatever type of planned
gift you choose to make, your gift will ensure that quality care
remains a standard at CapitalCare.
In Celebration and Memory Giving
There are many ways to celebrate and honour the life of a loved
one; it could be a birthday, anniversary, a special occasion or in
memory. A gift through the CapitalCare Foundation will celebrate
the life of a loved one and benefit the residents and clients of
CapitalCare centres. When you make a memorial donation, the
Foundation informs the family of your thoughtful gift. All donation
amounts remain confidential and are not disclosed in notification
letters to families.
Regular Donor Program
This program allows you to make regular monthly, quarterly,
semi-annual or annual donations to the CapitalCare Foundation and
have it automatically charged to your major credit card. We do the
work once you have registered. As an added benefit, we do not send
you further fund requests during our campaigns, thus saving you
time, saving trees and reducing our expenses. You will of
course continue to receive our newsletter and any other information
of interest.
Tax Considerations
The CapitalCare Foundation is a registered charity. Eligible
donations qualify for a receipt for income tax purposes and are
eligible for the full tax credit allowed under Canada Revenue Agency
law. The charitable registration number is 13874 8835 RR0001.
