Etch a Memory Would you like to commemorate a personal hero or loved one while supporting the memory and commitment of our veterans who served and continue to serve valiantly for our country? The Etch a Memory program is designed to give people an opportunity to commemorate someone special while supporting the new continuing care centre for Canadian veterans living in Northern Alberta. The Dianne and Irving Kipnes Centre for Veterans is located at the former Griesbach military base in Edmonton and is a home deserving of the contributions and sacrifices made by the 120 veterans who live there. The inscribed etchings form the Wall of Pride in the memorial garden at the Kipnes Centre. This is where etched inscriptions from family and friends of our veterans recognize and remember the pursuit of freedom.
