Young Day Adult Day Support Program
enables participants up to age 55 to live at home and come to the centre on a
regular basis during the day for social and rehabilitative activities.
The Dickinsfield program has been operating since January, 1993.
team meets regularly to identify
and address the needs of all program clients through team meetings
and ongoing interdisciplinary consultation.
Nursing care and supervision
Recreation therapy and activities
Respite for informal caregivers
Social work consultation
Young adults who:
are 18 to 55 years of age.
can benefit from a structured program with rehabilitation
have potential and/or nursing care or management needs
Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
There is a small daily program fee per scheduled day. Transportation is available through Disabled
Adult Transportation Service (DATS). Participants are responsible for DATS
costs. Families are encouraged to provide transportation when possible.
