Sheron Parmar, MBA, BSc.O.T, BSc (Psych), PMC

Sheron Parmar is a health care executive with more than 15 years of experience in the Alberta
health-care system.

Sheron has led, developed, and participated in complex, strategic programs and projects that improve the health and well-being of older adults across the care continuum.

Sheron works collaboratively with stakeholders inside and outside the organization to develop programs and services to advance person-centred care and improve quality of life for residents and staff at CapitalCare centres. 

She also lectures for the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta, and is a council member for the Alberta College of Regulated Occupational Therapists.

Sheron started with CapitalCare on June 18, 2018. Prior to joining CapitalCare, Sheron held leadership positions at St. Michael’s Health Group as well as the Government of Alberta, and was Senior Practice Consultant/Research and Evaluation Lead at Alberta Health Services.

Sheron was born and raised in Edmonton. She has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Alberta, a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Science (specialization in psychology), both from the University of Alberta, and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the Schulich School of Business.
