Biography

Wendy Wong

Wendy Wong is a values driven healthcare leader with over 20 years of public sector experience in continuing care, education services, and organizational development. Serving as Site Director at CapitalCare Grandview, she brings more than 18 years of progressive leadership within CapitalCare.

Wendy is passionate about delivering person-centred, high-quality care for all residents and patients at Grandview. She believes in life-long learning and promoting evidence-informed quality initiatives. 

Prior to her role as Site Director, Wendy served as Care Manager at Grandview and Laurier House Lynnwood where she oversaw quality improvement initiatives, created engagement, and built operational effectiveness together with an interdisciplinary staff team. Wendy’s leadership background also includes directing organization wide learning strategy as CapitalCare’s Manager of Education Services. She has strengthened her expertise in evidence-based practice, adult learning and interprofessional collaboration through earlier roles as Corporate Practice Leader – Rehabilitation and Corporate Educator. 

Wendy holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Leisure and Recreation Studies from the University of Alberta.
